trades adding to the pot

the coin's creator fees go into the dare pot, an account the program holds. holders post dares and back them with tokens. from 20:00 utc anyone can send the leading dare live, with the whole pot on it.

to go for the pot: do the dare, film it, post it on x, then submit the link to the program from your wallet. if holders vote yes, the pot goes to that wallet. you don't need to hold the coin.

    how it works

five steps. one pot. one dare live at a time, from 20:00 utc.

    1

    post a dare

holders post dares for strangers to do in real life, with at least 100k tokens behind each. order at a drive-thru only in frog noises. bake the chart as a cake.

    2

    back it

holders back the dares they want with tokens and can take them back any time. a dare takes the lead once its backing passes the leader's. from 20:00 utc anyone can send the leader live, with the whole pot on it.

    3

    do it

do the dare and film it. post the video on x, then submit the link to the program from your wallet. anyone can do it. you don't need to hold the coin.

    4

    holders vote

for 6 hours holders lock tokens on yes or no, one side per wallet per proof. the vote is token-weighted and on chain, and yes has to beat no.

    5

    the program pays

if yes wins, the program sends the pot to the wallet that signed the proof. if not, the dare takes new proofs until 24 hours after it went live, then fails and the pot rolls over.

    the rules

    1. 01

dares that never go live: anything that hurts someone, breaks a law, or drags in people who didn't agree.

    2. 02

the admin key vetoes those while they are queued. besides that it can only set the coin once at launch and pass itself to a new key. no instruction lets it touch the pot, the vault or a vote.

    3. 03

the program stays upgradeable by the deploy key while it's tested. that key could change any rule on this page, and this site will say so until upgrades are switched off.

    4. 04

the program is not on mainnet yet. the dare board, the pot and the votes on this page are preview data, labelled preview.

    5. 05

creator fees reach the pot through pump.fun fee sharing, pointed at the pot's address. the program itself has no instruction that pulls fees in. once they are in, only a passed vote moves them out, and the account keeps a small rent reserve.

    6. 06

posting a dare takes at least 100k tokens of backing. backing sits in the program's vault and you can take it back any time. taking it back from a queued dare lowers that dare's backing.

    7. 07

a dare takes the lead once its backing passes the leader's. if the leader loses backing, anyone can call challenge to put a dare with more backing on top.

    8. 08

from 20:00 utc anyone can send the leader live, as long as no other dare is still live. with nothing queued, anyone can move the slot to the next day and the pot waits.

    9. 09

a proof is a link of up to 140 characters, submitted and signed by the doer's wallet. if it passes, that wallet gets the pot. while one proof is under vote, no other can come in.

    10. 10

voting locks your tokens on yes or no for that proof's 6 hours, so the same tokens can't vote twice. one side per wallet per proof. you take the tokens back once the vote is settled.

    11. 11

yes has to beat no. a tie, or a vote nobody joined, counts as no.

    12. 12

a rejected proof leaves the dare live for the next proof until 24 hours after it went live. after that the dare fails and the pot rolls over to the next one.
